Subscription & Billing

Motocare offers a free tier, a 6-month Pro subscription, and a lifetime pro. This page explains billing, renewals, refunds, and the Apple terms that apply to App Store purchases.

Apple Terms for App Store Purchases

Motocarepaid options are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

The guidance below explains Motocare-specific billing and support details, but it does not replace Apple's standard EULA or Apple's purchase terms.

Free vs Pro

Motocare is free to download and includes core functionality. A Pro subscription unlocks additional features such as extended history, advanced reminders, and support for more vehicles.

You can use the free tier indefinitely. There's no forced trial period and no credit card required to get started.

Current Paid Options

  • Motocare Pro 6 Months — auto-renewable access billed every 6 months until you cancel.
  • Motocare Lifetime Pro — one-time purchase for ongoing Pro access. This option does not renew.

Exact pricing is shown in the App Store before you confirm a purchase and may vary by region.

How Billing Works

All paid options are processed securely through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment information.

When you choose the 6-month Pro subscription, your Apple ID account is billed every 6 months. If you choose Motocare Lifetime Pro, Apple charges your Apple ID once at the time of purchase.

Auto-Renewal

The 6-month Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each 6-month billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The renewal charge appears on your Apple ID account.

Apple will notify you before a significant price change takes effect and require you to confirm the renewal if you're on a free trial or promotional price.

Motocare Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.

Managing Your Subscription

If you have the 6-month Pro subscription, you can view, change, or cancel it at any time through Apple's subscription management screen:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select Motocare.
  5. Choose to modify or cancel your subscription.

Alternatively, you can access subscription settings directly through the Motocare app under Settings.

Motocare Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase, so there is no recurring renewal to cancel.

Cancellation

Cancelling the 6-month Pro subscriptionstops future renewal charges. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.

Motocare Lifetime Pro does not renew, so there is no cancellation step after purchase. Neither option deletes your account or your data.

Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the app, switch devices, or need to restore a previously purchased 6-month Pro subscription or Motocare Lifetime Pro, use the "Restore Purchases" option found in the app's Settings screen. This will reconnect your eligible purchase to your account.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We are not able to process refunds directly.

To request a refund from Apple:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID and locate the Motocare purchase.
  • Submit a refund request with a reason.

Apple reviews all refund requests and decisions are at their discretion.
