How do I sign in or create an account?+
Motocare uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. On the sign-in screen, tap the Apple button and follow the prompts. You'll need an Apple ID. You may choose to share your name and email or keep them private using Apple's email relay.
My data isn't syncing across my devices. What should I do?+
Motocare uses iCloud to sync data across your devices. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID on all devices, and that iCloud Drive is enabled in your device Settings. If sync is still not working, try signing out of iCloud and signing back in.
I accidentally deleted a fuel or maintenance record. Can I recover it?+
Deleted records cannot currently be recovered from within the app. If iCloud backups are enabled on your device, you may be able to restore a previous backup. We recommend keeping iCloud backup active.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
If you have the 6-month Pro subscription, it is managed entirely through Apple. Go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Motocare to make changes. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
I paid through Apple, but the app shows I don't have Pro.+
This can sometimes happen after reinstalling the app or switching devices. Use the 'Restore Purchases' option within the app (usually found in Settings or the subscription screen). That can reconnect both the 6-month Pro subscription and Lifetime Pro purchases. If the issue persists, contact us and we'll help investigate.
How do I request a refund?+
Refunds are processed by Apple, not by us directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or go to your App Store purchase history and select the relevant transaction. Apple reviews all refund requests.
How do I delete my account?+
You can request account deletion from within the app under account settings, or by contacting us at the email below. See our Delete Account page for full details on what this involves.
Is my vehicle data private?+
Yes. Your vehicle, fuel, and maintenance records are stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. We do not have access to this data outside of what you enter. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
